The National Child Care Information Center (NCCIC) is a national clearinghouse and technical assistance center linking parents, providers, policy-makers, researchers, and the public to early care and education information.
Who NCCIC Serves
NCCIC responds to requests from parents, child care providers and other early education professionals, researchers, policy-makers, national organizations, businesses, and the general public. NCCIC provides technical assistance and training to States, Territories, and Tribes.

Partnerships
NCCIC partners with the Child Care Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (ACF), U.S. Regional Offices to promote children's learning by improving the quality of early care and education. NCCIC is a member of the Child Care Bureau's Child Care Technical Assistance Network (CCTAN) to address the needs of States, Territories, and Tribes administering the Child Care and Development Fund.

NCCIC Online Library
NCCIC's Online Library, is the largest collection of summaries and links to full-text publications about child care and early childhood education. Search thousands of resources and publications containing summaries, availability information and links to full text documents when available. View customized quick searches to New Acquisitions and Recursos Seleccionados en Español (Selected Resources in Spanish).
Technical Assistance and Training to States
NCCIC works closely with ACF Regional Offices to provide technical assistance and training for States through a network of State Technical Assistance Specialists. NCCIC provides technical assistance through on-site visits, individual and group consultations, research, written materials and conference and meeting support.
NCCIC recently launched the Partnerships, Alliances, and Coordination
Techniques (PACT) initiative, which provides training and technical assistance
on partnership issues to State, Territory, and Tribal policy-makers.
Conference And Meeting Support
NCCIC provides information resources and publications for conference or meeting. For selected national meetings, NCCIC assists in planning, organizes resource areas, and provides speakers and facilitators.
NCCIC Publications
NCCIC develops and disseminates the quarterly Child Care Bulletin—available in English and Spanish—a 50-state summary of State child care plans and policies, and other publications on key child care issues.
